Handling, Displaying, and Storing Prints

  • Caring and Handling

Unframed prints are extremely delicate and should be handled carefully. Moisture and oils from your skin can also affect print quality.

    Some useful tips.

-Handle prints with clean, dry, moisture-free hands.

-Wear clean cotton or fresh disposable gloves when handling the artwork(s).

-Unpack the print on a clean, dry, dust-free surface.

-Be careful not to get water or other liquids on the paper. If this happens, gently wipe it off immediatley.

  • Displaying and Storing

-Use art prints under normal conditions. 59-78°F (15-25°C) at 40-60% relative humidity.

-Extreme temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight may affect the print quality and lead to discoloration, fading, or damage to the paper.

-Conservation grade materials such as acid-free matting and UV blocking glass or plexiglass helps to ensure the longevity and protection of the artwork(s).

-Store unframed artworks in a dry, dark environment.

-Acid-Free archival tissue paper helps in maintaining an archive, by helping to preserve quality, strength, and color over time.

Sticker Application + Tips

  • Application

Apply the sticker on a clean and dry surface. When applying the sticker, slowly start from one side and press down as you go, smoothing it out to minimize the possibility of air bubbles. If bubbles occur after application, use the backing peel of the sticker sheet and cover the sticker to prevent scratching, then use a credit card or similar to press out any remaining bubbles.

  • Care

Our stickers are durable, UV protected of up to 4 years under normal exposure conditions, and are water-resistant, however, constant water exposure on the sticker is not recommended.
